UnBoxed Day 1 on Tuesday had 3 summary articles written (I know there are more, but these were the first 3 that showed up on my feed). I was curious who AI thought helped the CPG industry more as all 3 are worth a read IMO, but what if you only have time for one or are looking for specific focus area of a recap? This is where the AI assessment would remove human bias most likely.

I also wanted to expand on each of the articles with some of my own CPG implications and how Branded Conversations might work OR NOT inside of a CPG.

This assessment evaluated writers from AdAge, Omnicom, and Pacvue across five weighted evaluation criteria:

AdAge by Brandon Doerrer (“AdAge Media buyers grade Amazon Unboxed 2026 products”)- paywall: https://lnkd.in/gankVd45

Omnicom by Mike Feldman (“Field Note #5: What I Can’t Stop Thinking About From unBoxed”) https://lnkd.in/gpa_dhmK

Pacvue by Melissa Burdick (“Amazon unBoxed 2026: What Was Announced and What It Means for Your Brand”) https://lnkd.in/gp5K2Bxk

Evaluation Criteria Strategic Weighting (reach out directly if you want more details on evaluation process)

CPG Relevance (25%)

Practical Application (30%)

Depth of Insight (25%)

Critical Thinking (15%)

Evidence amp; Specificity (5%)

If you want the full results on what implications there are from Branded Conversations for CPGs from me and/or the AI assessment of the 3 recaps with AI's pick for which one an executive should read if only time for one, head to my Substack where the substance of the article is. https://lnkd.in/gJc5hKjG
