There is a real human behind this screen. Feeling, thinking, reflecting, writing, creating, doing the best she can to bring value to her clients, her people, and the world.
I get what it is like to be a founder. To be a parent whose only real choice is to succeed, because other people are counting on you.
So here is the one thing I want to say as this new month begins: kindness is free. It costs you nothing to be good to people, to make this world, your world, a better place.
Most of the people you meet are carrying something you cannot see. A good month or a hard quarter, a worry they take home at night and say nothing about. You almost never get to know which one it is. But you always get to choose how you treat them.
To every founder starting this month, I hope it is a good one. And I hope that whatever it brings, you leave every person you cross a little better than you found them.
Kindness is free. Spend it generously.
