This is going to be a great week.
Lots of things in motion.
I’ve always had a big fear about my professional career - the fear of everything falling apart.
—— Things not working out.
—— Anxious over making people happy.
—— People not thinking I’m good enough.
And the fear wasn’t for me personally.
⤷ It was for my family of 5.
My wife is a stay-at-home mom (literally the most difficult & stressful job I can think of) and we have 3 kids in elementary school.
They all rely on me - and only me.
I know I’m not special in this situation. I know tons of people - even colleagues in this space that I’m in - that are in the same boat as me.
But man, it is scary & anxious 24/7.
I can’t let them down.
I won’t let them down.
This week is going to be a great week.
Maybe next week sucks.
Maybe the week after is hard.
Maybe next month I want to scream.
But this week? Oh, this week is a great week.
