10 things I wish I’d known when I first started my marketing career 👇

I’ve been working full time for two years since graduating uni ✨

So here’s everything I wish I knew when I first started:

1. If you aren’t 100% sure, test it!

2. Always make your goals SMART.

3. Feedback is the BEST thing you can get.

4. Don’t stop learning, even the small things build up.

5. Everyone has something to add to an idea no matter their level of experience.

6. Put yourself out there, but be specific with what your reasons are for doing so.

7. You don’t have to know everything. Your curiosity and mindset matters way more.

8. Consistency beats perfection! You learn so much more rather than keeping ideas as drafts.

9. You don’t need to set goals straight away, but they sure do help if it feels like you’re just drifting through.

10. Celebrate the wins, small or big. Keep track so you can reflect on them and see how much you’ve achieved!

Two years on and I’m still learning every day, which is exactly what I love 🫶

Anything else I should add to this list?

Let me know in the comments!
