Your Amazon rating just dropped overnight. Is it a real problem, or is Amazon doing routine housekeeping?
Amazon runs periodic review resyncs that touch thousands of listings at once, not just yours.
One seller reached out in a panic this week after their rating slipped overnight. They assumed a competitor or a fake-review attack had hit them.
It hadn't. Their total review picture had actually gotten better. The rating just dipped under 4.0, and that single decimal point hurt sales more than the resync itself.
Here is the fix: track your rating per ASIN, every week.
A weekly number gives you a baseline. With a baseline, you can tell a system-wide update from a real problem the second it happens, instead of guessing while panicking.
Build that habit before you need it, not after.
