Next week I'm on stage at the Digital Shelf Summit in London, presenting new research I've been working on with Lauren Livak Gilbert from The Digital Shelf Institute.
We set out to understand a growing problem inside many organisations:
The widening gap between leadership expectations for ecommerce growth, and the reality of the teams expected to deliver it.
We interviewed ecommerce leaders to understand where that disconnect comes from, what is holding teams back, and what needs to change if brands want to scale with online customers like Amazon.
There are few people in our industry whose work and expertise I respect as deeply as Lauren's. We connected early in my consulting career, long before we first met in person at the Digital Shelf Summit in London last year.
So being back at the same event to share what we found means a lot.
