1,272 people in our Amazon ads pool turned out to be delivery drivers.
Their employer field said Amazon DSP. In advertising that means Demand Side Platform. At Amazon it also means Delivery Service Partner.
Load planners. Warehouse supervisors. Van drivers.
Every keyword search for Amazon DSP talent pulls them in. Ours did too.
So we took all 1,272 out. The pool went from 28,056 to 26,784.
The more interesting number is what happened to DSP experience. It went from 6,656 people to 5,386. Nearly a quarter of what looked like Amazon DSP expertise was a van.
This is what actually happens when you source from a job title. The string matches. The person does not.
26,784 profiled. 12,831 with dated Amazon Ads roles. None of them driving.
