My first season and first year in Minor League Baseball with the OKC Comets is officially in the books!
After 19 years working in sports, I can honestly say this past year has been one of the most rewarding and memorable chapters of my career.
A huge thank you to my Sales, Services, and Ticketing team for everything you did behind the scenes throughout the 2026 season. The work you do every single day to take care of our fans, our season-ticket members, our groups, and our partners doesn’t go unseen. I’m incredibly proud of the team we’ve built and everything you accomplished this season.
I also want to recognize the entire Comets front office. The collaboration and teamwork across every department played such a huge role in creating the promotions, theme nights, events, and experiences our fans got to enjoy throughout the season. There are so many people working behind the scenes to make a baseball season happen, and I’m grateful to be surrounded by such a talented group.
And then there’s the team on the field…
What a way to finish. Winning the Pacific Coast League Championship in Las Vegas last week and then bringing home the 2026 Triple-A National Championship made an already incredible season even more special.
Congratulations to everyone in our baseball operations and coaching staffs, and especially to the players who put it all on the line this season.
It’s been an incredible first year with the Comets, and I’m thankful to everyone who has been part of it.
Now it’s time to turn the page and get to work on 2027.
I can’t wait to see what’s next.
