After 10 years working in marketing for some of the UK’s biggest brands — and five years building These Girls Run alongside my career — I’m taking the leap into self-employment!

This has been on my bucket list for a while, but always felt more like a dream than a reality. A decade of working, studying and building a community has given me the experience and confidence to take a risk and try something new

Six years at Nestlé taught me how to build iconic brands at scale. Four years at Sipsmith and Suntory taught me how to connect brands with culture, through cross-channel campaigns at the Wimbledon Championships and beyond

These Girls Run has taught me how to build a business, grow with limited time and money, and keep going when things get tough. Building it before and after work, and at weekends, hasn’t always been easy (as my husband Dom will 100% know!). But I love it — the difference it can make to others and purpose it gives me has always made it worth it

Now, I’ll be giving These Girls Run the time it needs to help more women feel safe and supported in running and beyond (more on this soon!).

I’ll also be bringing my corporate and founder experience to brands and communities that want to build, grow and scale

If you’re looking for freelance support with brand management, events or partnerships, I’d love to chat. And if you’re a community founder looking to grow, I have plenty of learnings (good and bad!) that I think can help

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout my career, especially my former colleagues who saw the potential in These Girls Run right from the start. Your words and encouragement have stuck with me and helped me build the confidence to make this change

I’m EXCITED!

Molly
