Amazon Accelerate this year felt like a glimpse of where our entire industry is heading. π
Going as one of the few official Global Amazon Educators gave me a different view of Seattle: fewer lectures, more real conversations, and plenty of time with the Amazon team.
A proud moment: I was invited to record an official Amazon Ads podcast with Brandon Young on how to properly optimise Amazon PPC campaigns. ποΈ Being asked by Amazon to share what we've learned at Ecomcy managing 1,000+ brands and over $500 million in annual revenue is something I don't take lightly.
I also had the pleasure of meeting Dharmesh Mehta, Technical Advisor to Andy Jassy, and Amit Agarwal, SVP Worldwide Selling Partner Services. Hearing from the leaders shaping the future of selling on Amazon was a real privilege.
One theme ran through everything: AI is no longer a side topic on Amazon. It's becoming how customers shop and how brands grow.
What I'm taking home:
ππ½ Search is changing shape. Shoppers ask questions instead of typing keywords. Listings now need to explain, not just rank.
ππ½ Content is judged by machines before humans. Clear, complete product information is the new SEO.
ππ½ Advertising is getting smarter. AI is making DSP and AMC accessible to brands that thought they were too small. Watching Akash Sarkar, our Head of DSP/AMC, turn "we've heard of AMC" into "now I see how this changes our strategy" was a highlight.
ππ½ Speed is the new advantage. Waiting for the dust to settle costs market share.
ππ½ The human side still matters most. Relationships and judgement turn tools into results.
