Shoppers do not read Amazon listings

They swipe them

That makes your image stack the only salesperson

Most buyers will ever meet

And a lot of brands send that salesperson in with no script

Pretty images do not sell

Answers sell

The best Amazon product images

are built from what buyers are already telling you

not from what the design team thinks looks nice

Start with your negative reviews

Every complaint about fit

Size or quality is a question

Your images failed to answer before the sale

Put that answer on screen

Then read your competitors negative reviews

Their frustrated buyers are shopping your category right now

If they keep complaining about a flimsy part or confusing setup

Show exactly why yours is different

Check the Voice of the Customer dashboard

in Seller Central and pull your return reason

Not as described is an image problem wearing a returns costume

Fix the picture and you cut returns

Protect your conversion rate at the same time

Scan the customer questions on your listing

If the same question shows up again and again

It belongs in an image

not buried in a Q&A section

Nobody scrolls to

Once the stack is built

Stop guessing

If you are brand registered

Use Manage Your Experiments to test

Your main image against a new version

Let real shoppers vote with clicks

instead of letting a meeting room decide

Listings that convert are not always the best looking

They are the ones that answer

The most questions in the fewest swipes

A confused shopper never buys

They just keep scrolling to your competitor
