Exact match is a scalpel

Exact match is a scalpel

Swing it carelessly

It still cuts you

Sellers treat exact match

Like a promotion ceremony

A keyword wins in auto

Gets moved to exact

The bid goes up

Everyone celebrates

Then sales dip

Nobody can explain why

The mistake is believing control equals performance

It does not

Auto and broad match campaigns catch

More than the one query you spotted

They pick up close variants

Misspellings related searches

That all feed the same sale

Lift one term into exact

Cut off everything around it

You can starve the very traffic

that made it a winner

Bids fool people the same way

A higher bid buys placement

not conversion

If your listing

Price

Reviews

Did not change

Paying more for the same click

Just inflates your ACoS

So judge the keyword

Not the campaign

Pull total orders spend

ACoS for that search term

Across every campaign it touches

If exact grows the total

Keep pushing

If it only moves sales from one bucket

to another at a higher cost

You did not scale anything

You reshuffled

Watch TACoS while you do it

Real keyword scaling shows up

as more total revenue

Not a prettier campaign report

Exact match earns its budget one report at a time
