Most CPG testing budgets aren't too small – they're concentrated on a handful of expensive assets each year, while the rest of the portfolio goes out untested.

In his latest column, Dragonfly AI co-founder and CEO, Steve King, runs the numbers on what happens when even a small share of that spend shifts to AI-powered testing: at a 10% shift, the model returns £98,600 in savings within the first year, most of it – £72,800 – from shelf testing, historically the costliest method to run at scale.

At 30%, that figure rises to £295,800.💰

The point isn't to replace panel testing and eye-tracking. It's to stop reserving proper testing for the few assets that can afford it.
