Just heading home from Amazon Accelerate in Seattle.
Three packed days, thousands of sellers, and probably one of the best Accelerates I’ve attended when it comes to the density of high-level operators in one place.
But my biggest takeaway wasn’t the event itself.
We had an incredible meeting with some of Amazon’s top leadership including Mary Beth Westmoreland and Katie Scott and had the opportunity to talk openly about the issues that actually matter to MDS members and experienced sellers.
What impressed me most was the willingness to listen and uncover root causes.
There are obviously still plenty of challenges for sellers, but it genuinely feels like the current Amazon leadership wants to hear the seller voice, understand where the friction is, and keep the conversation going.
Even more importantly, they want to continue working with MDS and our members to surface the issues that matter most.
That’s a conversation I’m excited to keep pushing forward.
