Ads do not fix Amazon listings

Ads do not fix Amazon listings

They expose them

Amazon PPC is a megaphone

Point it at a great listing and sales get louder

Point it at a broken one

You just paid to show more shoppers

Why they should buy somewhere else

Before you raise a single bid

Run a readiness test

That uses your own data instead of your gut

Start with organic conversion

Pull Unit Session Percentage by ASIN in Business Reports

If the listing barely converts the free traffic it already gets

Paid traffic will not magically behave better

Fix the page first

Next launch with a small

Capped test budget and read the early signals

Plenty of clicks but few orders

means shoppers like the ad

and hate the listing

Few impressions means Amazon

Does not see your product

as relevant for the keywords yet

Those are different problems with different fixes

Neither one is solved by throwing more money at it

Check keyword alignment

The terms you bid on should appear in your title and bullets

When the ad promises one thing

The listing talks about another

Shoppers bounce and your ACoS climbs

Build a harvesting loop from day one

Winning search terms from your auto campaigns

Move into manual campaigns

and back into your listing copy

Wasted terms get negated fast

Negations are mosquito repellent for your ad spend

Check inventory depth before you scale

Ads speed up sales

Running out of stock mid campaign

throws away the organic rank

You just paid to earn

Accounts with the best TACoS

did not start with the biggest budgets

They started with listings

That were ready to catch the traffic

Spend follows readiness

Never the other way around
