Amazon Accelerate is making one thing increasingly clear: A LOT of the manual work happening inside Seller Central is about to disappear.
Seller Assistant is moving well beyond Q&A.
Amazon is building AI that can understand a business, monitor accounts and trends, surface what needs attention, recommend next steps and increasingly help execute them.
Then add Amazon Quick, Canvas, the new Selling Partner plugin, Seller Assistant Claude expansions and more AI being built into Amazon Ads.
Take a new product launch.
AI can help validate the opportunity, analyze customer feedback and competitive gaps, monitor inventory and pricing, build reporting, analyze early performance and flag problems.
Some of this is live today, while some represents where Amazon is headed.
But the direction is obvious.
Amazon is automating more of the repetitive work that has historically eaten up hours of an Amazon team’s day.
For agencies, that raises the bar.
Brands don’t need more people pulling reports and telling them what happened. They need partners who can decide:
Where should the next dollar go?
Is the problem advertising, inventory, pricing, creative or conversion?
When AI recommends something, does it actually make sense for the business?
The agencies that win will know how to use Amazon's AI better than their competition.
Less time pulling data should mean more time figuring out how to actually grow the business.
That’s where agency value should have been all along.
