"His CV was a little scattered."
Not as well organised as the others, apparently. That's a real rejection, of someone who could do the job.
I've got some sympathy. A messy CV is a signal, and signals are most of what you've got at that stage.
But think about what it's a signal of:
→ How much time they spend job hunting
→ Whether anyone ever taught them what a CV should look like
→ Whether English is their first language
None of which is "can this person bring your ACOS down."
The best Amazon ads people I know are often the worst at writing about themselves. They've spent ten years heads-down in Seller Central, not polishing a document.
Which is why there's a video round.
People are much better at talking about their work than formatting it.
