Amazon just doubled how long it can sit on your review removal request, and nobody told sellers.
The old publication window was 1-2 weeks. It has quietly stretched to 30-60 days.
That means a review you thought was gone can resurface two months later. Nothing was final, Amazon just took longer to confirm it.
If you are still checking review status the old way (once, right after filing, then forgetting about it), you are going to miss this.
My advice: build review monitoring into your monthly routine instead of treating it as a one-time cleanup. Confirmation now takes twice as long as it used to, so your check-in cadence needs to match.
It is less like flipping a switch and more like waiting on a certified letter that can still bounce back weeks after you mailed it.
