You could spend 20 minutes explaining why lifting weights matters.

Or you could show someone these two bones.

Both are from 70-year-olds.

The bone on the left is from someone who didn’t lift weights consistently. It’s porous. Fragile. In the demonstration, it crumbles under pressure.

The bone on the right is from someone who lifted weights throughout their life. It’s much denser. Much harder to break.

You don’t need a lecture on bone density.

You can see the difference.

That’s a sales lesson.

Salespeople love to tell.

“We save you time.”

“We increase conversion.”

“We make your team more productive.”

“We’re easier to use.”

Those are claims.

Claims require the buyer to believe you. Buyers are skeptical. Of course you’re doing to say your product is easier to use, you’re biased.

Showing is different.

Show me the workflow before and after.

Show me the call before and after the coaching.

Show me how long something took before and how long it takes now.

Better yet, let me try it. Give me the remote control.

The less your buyer has to take your word for it, the less selling you have to do.
