Your Amazon CTR is dropping, so you raise your ad budget. Now you're paying more to send shoppers to a main image that's already losing them.

A brand in year one almost always tries to buy its way out of a listing that doesn't convert. The sequence you should actually run, in order:

1. Fix the main image before anything else.

It's the most valuable real estate you have on Amazon. Design it for a phone, because mobile is 53% of Amazon traffic and you're sitting in a grid of competitors at thumbnail size.

Make the product huge, push the contrast, cut the text to three to five words that survive at thumbnail.

2. Give every secondary image one job.

A lifestyle shot, then one infographic per key benefit, then one that kills the main objection, then social proof.

Going from a decent image stack to an optimized one can move conversion from 8% to 12%. On an 8-figure brand that's millions.

3. Test creatives and keep what wins.

Usually the creative sucks because nobody tested it. Run variations and let the numbers pick.

Get your creative right first, then you can put ad $$$ behind the product.
