Falling organic sales is a symptom

Sellers keep treating it like a diagnosis and throw ad budget at it

Start by separating traffic from conversion

Because the fix is completely different depending on which one broke

Sessions down means a ranking or visibility problem

Sessions flat with fewer orders means

The listing lost the sale after the click

One number tells you which door to walk through

Most sellers never check it before they raise bids

Then find the date

Not the week

The day

Line the drop up against your own change log

See what happened that same day

Variation split

New backend keyword push

Suppressed image

Price test

Buy box loss to your own reseller

Amazon does not send a notification when your rank slips

So the timestamp is your best evidence

Check the boring stuff before the sexy stuff

Did the ASIN go out of stock even for a day

Did an inbound shipment sit in receiving

Did a bad review land on the parent

Did a coupon or deal expire and take the badge with it

Rank decay from a short stockout looks exactly

Like a keyword problem on the graph

No amount of PPC spend fixes it faster

than restoring the availability signal

Diagnose first

Spend second

That order is not optional
