That's the best rejection we've ever had.
Not because it's kind. Because it's specific, and because it's right.
They asked him about a time he got something wrong. He answered by describing problems with how other people structure campaigns.
They asked about critical feedback he'd received. Same shape of answer.
That's a real signal. Someone who can't locate a mistake of their own is someone who won't catch the next one either.
Most rejections I see are taste dressed up as judgement.
That one was judgement.
I'd have made the same call.
