Your ASIN is training an AI.

Amazon's ranking and shopping systems run on large language models now, and those models learn from every field a seller submits, from the title to the backend keywords to the bullet points.

But for some reason backend fields get filled out to satisfy a compliance checkbox, and the work stops there, treating the Flat File as paperwork instead of input.

And as sellers is important to know that LLM model Amazon has reads that field as evidence, and it uses the words, the attributes, and the structure to place the ASIN inside a group of comparable products, whether or not that placement works in the seller's favor.

Because LLMs operate by recognizing patterns across everything they were trained on, so a title, a bullet point, and a backend keyword all become signals that map one product against another, and Alexa for shopping runs on that same logic, matching spoken patterns to listings before the customer finishes the sentence.

So what can you do with this? Treat every field in the Flat File as training data instead of paperwork, and write the specific attributes that separate your ASIN from the products sitting next to it in that pattern, because the system favors the listing it can classify with the most confidence.
