Stop lying to yourself.

Stop lying to yourself.
These three excuses are holding you back more than your diet is.
I'm not saying you're lazy.
I'm not saying you don't want it.
I'm saying you've convinced yourself of something that isn't true.
These three things sound like reasons. They're not.
They're excuses dressed up as logic:
1) "I don't have the right setup."
You don't need a home gym. You don't need a fancy setup. If you've got a floor and 20 minutes, you have everything you need.
Push-ups Monday. Pull-ups Tuesday. Squats Wednesday. Every minute on the minute for 20 minutes.
No equipment. No gym. No excuse left.
And if you do want a home setup?
Adjustable dumbbells, a bench, an Aerodyne bike, and a pull-up bar that goes over the doorframe.
Most of it's on Facebook Marketplace secondhand.
That's it. Setup solved.
2) "I don't have the time."
You have 20 minutes. I know you do.
Twenty minutes on an Aerodyne bike - 20 seconds on, 40 seconds off, twenty rounds - and you're done. Your heart rate is through the roof and you can't talk.
One of my clients, Garrett, does offshore inspections of old oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico.
Takes our coaching calls on Starlink internet from a metal shack in the middle of the ocean.
He's got kettlebells on the back of the boat and does 10 push-ups every time he walks up the stairs.
If Garrett can find the time, you can find the time.
3) "I don't know the right supplements to take."
You don't need them.
Supplements are exactly what the name says - they supplement the main thing.
They're not the main thing.
The main thing is to:
• Lift weights
• Track your calories
• Hit your protein target
• Get your daily steps in
That's it. That's the actual work.
And if you really want supplements? Creatine and a protein shake.
That's perfectly adequate.
Anything beyond that is a waste of money until the basics are locked in.
Stop researching supplements and start doing the thing they're supposed to supplement.
Three excuses. All dead.
The setup isn't the problem. The time isn't the problem. The blood work isn't the problem.
You already know what the problem is.
Just get something done. Get rolling.
What excuse did you finally let go of?
