"Glance Readability" fails on Car Touchscreens, documented by Jon Ward and Tobii with #WHATCAR magazine. Designing for screen demands understanding how fast fixations (glances) really are. Some cars literally are making their customers frustrated with terrible UX and don't understand how to create glance-readable labels and critical text. Mike Bradley this was your world when you worked for Ford...and Sam Waller this makes the point screens are popping up everywhere from CARS to KIOSKS to Retailer Media instore and not knowing how to design for screen is a world of pain for the end user.
