Amazon Accelerate is next week -- are you ready?
You've hopefully planned most of it, right? You have your Seller Café appointments set, and an agenda written up? Meetings scheduled?
But caution ahead: don't think half an hour with an Amazon Account Health rep is going to erase months of policy headaches or performance notification wreckage.
You'll leave Seattle frustrated if you think the Cafe is be all, end all.
That time slot is not the finish line. You need real face time with people who matter, clear questions, and documented attempts to resolve listing takedowns, reporting abusive competition, and other appeals issues.
If you show up without a tight elevator pitch of your core problem, you’re burning time and expecting magic wand resolution.
Know your ask. Know the exact policy failure or Amazon error.
Don’t wander into the weeds; deliver it cleanly, and don’t wing it.
Don’t walk away empty-handed when the timer dings.
Get their name and grab a card. Locate the real decision makers.
At the absolute bare minimum, pull out your phone and send a LinkedIn invite before you even stand up from the table.
And when you promise you’re going to follow up? Actually do it.
Most sellers sit back and wait the second their slot ends, assuming “the wheels are in motion” and waiting around for a ticket update which may or may not be useful.
Push for a part two. Look around the event, there are senior managers and team leads floating around the floor, ducking in and out of breakout sessions the entire week.
If you’ve got new data, a cleaner timeline, or a tighter appeal ready twenty-four hours later, put it back in front of them while you still have them in the same physical zip code.
Hand them your updates instead of holding your breath for theirs.
I’m getting into Seattle early this year to connect with sellers before the madness kicks off. If you're in town Sunday night after 9pm, look for us.
We'll talk strategy, unpack what you’re dealing with, and make sure your pitch is airtight before you ever set foot inside the convention center.
Don't wait until Tuesday afternoon to figure out your plan of attack. If you're going to be in town early, pull up a chair and let's get ahead of it.
