Younger generations like GenZ and soon Gen Alpha, are allergic to performative marketing. And the data is telling us what actually works.

That’s one of the conversations I’m looking forward to having this week in Chicago at the Corporate Researchers Conference (CRC 2026).

I love this conference because it brings together the people shaping the future of research, innovation, and consumer understanding across our corporate partners. For me, the opportunity is bigger than what’s new in research. It’s about what we can do with those insights—how we translate intelligence into cultural credibility, stronger brand connections, and meaningful business impact.

This year, I’m excited to join Jack Mackinnon, M.Ed. of Collage Group on stage to explore what the data says about reaching a generation that can spot performative marketing from a mile away.

If you’re in the room, come find us. I’d love to hear what you’re seeing, too.
