Human consumers connect with emotion, while AI agents rely on practical information. Brands need to effectivley market to both of these audiences.
Imagine you’re marketing a new tinted sunscreen. An emotion-led campaign that connects the product to the concept of easier mornings might sway human consumers, but it won’t carry much weight with AI.
Agents respond to concrete, comparable details that help determine whether a product fits a particular use case. A bulleted detail list that includes the sunscreen’s SPF, available shades, and whether it rubs off on clothing will have far more impact than polished marketing copy.
Brands still need emotional storytelling to build connection and loyalty with people, but they also need a parallel strategy that gives agents the information they need to make the right recommendation.
Really enjoyed getting into this with Lauren Livak Gilbert and Peter Crosby on the Unpacking the Digital Shelf Podcast. Thanks again for being such thoughtful hosts! https://lnkd.in/gEBWY4aq
