As my summer internship at Continuum Partners, Development & Advisors comes to an end, I'm grateful for the opportunity to have worked as a Finance Intern.

Over the past few months, I gained hands-on experience across accounting systems, financial reporting, and AI-assisted finance workflows. My work included building an AI agent that codes raw bank statements into a general ledger, a 100+ account chart of accounts across all five entities, leading our Sage Intacct general ledger implementation, posting opening balance sheet entries, and coordinating and leading weekly status meetings with our third-party implementation partners.

I also produced monthly by-entity balance sheets, P&L, equity statement, and cash flow packages with comparative and multi-period trend views. In addition, I built a headcount-driven cash forecast and a multi-partner expense tracker, presenting results directly to the CFO and the partners.

Interacting regularly with the partners, senior management, staff, and the other summer interns gave me a real understanding of the various business lines Continuum works across, from powered land and energy advisory to AI infrastructure and data centers. Thank you to Joseph J. Saveriano and Bob Johnson, CAIA, for giving me this opportunity and for trusting an intern with real work that will assist the team long after I am gone, and to the entire Continuum team for the guidance and support throughout the summer.

This experience strengthened my interest in finance, accounting systems, and the continued growth of the data center and AI industries. I look forward to bringing what I've learned back to Northeastern University's D'Amore-McKim School of Business as I begin my sophomore year.
