"The video link is not working."

That was the feedback. That was all of it.

A candidate's entire shot at a role, gone to a broken URL.

Nobody's at fault here. The client wasn't being unfair - they clicked, it didn't load, they moved to the next profile. Completely rational when you've got forty other things on.

But it's worth sitting with for a second.

3,805 people have applied to us. 23 have been placed.

Somewhere in that gap are people who lost on a broken link. A bad connection. A CV that opened weird on someone's phone.

Not on ability.

Most hiring failure isn't a judgement call at all.

It's friction.

One thing we're continuously trying to remove for clients is friction.
