👉 Abi Harmonn from House Harmon recently shared a perspective that resonated...
We’re having endless conversations about how quickly AI is advancing, and what it can automate and accelerate...
...but we’re not spending time talking about the humans expected to adapt alongside it.
AI can make you faster and can help you do more but you are still working within the same 'human hardware' as Abi calls it.
The human in the loop and the superpower of all of us is judgement, taste and decision making. And when people are overwhelmed or running on empty, adding faster technology doesn’t necessarily lead to better outcomes. Sometimes it just means we make the same exhausted decisions…faster.
That is why I focus so much of my conversation around agentic transformation and HOW organizations need to change in order to set themselves up for success. Just tacking on AI to a process will not help you, in fact it will probably make that broken process even worse.
It takes REINVENTION of how you work and how your organization operates. How is HR supporting teams? What education programs are in place to learn AI? What guardrails are setup? What does success look like? How do you operate in a hybrid human and agent environment? How do we support your people?
