We lost $18k in MRR in 8-days -> the same month we found out my wife was pregnant.
Then a $50m/year brand booked a call in and I had a choice:
Normal agency pitch. $6k month. Part-time.
OR
The exact same Amazon ads manager. Full-time. $3.2k month.
New model.
I was fully transparent on the call with the guy.
Saying how tough it had been with the US tariffs.
And I was honest about the agency world.
We knew increased time in the account led to better performance, but it also led to reduced margins for the agency.
So we were stuck.
The switch was the best decision I've made.
Now we charge so much less but give so much more.
And the babies doing fine regardless of our MRR.
