The best Amazon product research usually starts before you ever touch the product.
I want to understand what is already happening in the market first.
That means looking at the sellers who are already there and asking a few simple questions.
What are they doing right?
What are they doing wrong?
Which keywords are they ranking for?
Where is their demand coming from?
Where are they not ranking?
How competitive is the niche?
How much total demand is actually there?
Those answers matter because they influence almost every major business decision that follows.
They can help you estimate how many units you may need to order.
They can help shape your launch budget.
They can show you whether the niche is competitive enough to require more capital.
They can expose gaps where competitors are leaving demand on the table.
This is why I spend so much time looking at keyword data.
Keywords are not just an SEO tactic.
They are a window into customer demand.
And when you understand the demand, you can make better decisions around inventory, positioning, marketing, and capital allocation.
Everything in business eventually comes back to traffic and conversions.
Amazon gives sellers a major advantage because it is a closed ecosystem where we can analyze both.
That is what makes tools like Data Dive so valuable.
Instead of guessing what the market wants, you can study where traffic is going, where conversion is happening, and where there may still be room to compete.
