AI is not replacing product development. It is exposing how slowly a lot of bands have been doing it.

I looked at the original Blaze Bat design and thought it was too plain.

A few minutes with AI gave me an entirely different concept.

That does not mean AI automatically created the winning product.

It means I was able to take an idea, visualize another direction, and get to something testable significantly faster.

That distinction matters for Amazon sellers.

AI can dramatically reduce the friction between having an idea and seeing what that idea could actually look like.

You can explore different colors, positioning, packaging concepts, product aesthetics, and design directions before putting serious time or capital behind them.

But I would not take an AI generated concept and immediately send it to a factory.

The next step is still validation.

Does the customer actually prefer it?

Does the design create stronger perceived value?

Does it solve a real weakness in the competitive set?

Does it give the customer another reason to choose your product?

This is where the combination of AI, customer feedback, and marketplace data becomes powerful.

Use AI to iterate faster.

Use customers to tell you what resonates.

Use data to determine whether the opportunity makes business sense.

The technology is making experimentation cheaper. That means the standard for settling on an average product should be getting higher.

For Amazon sellers, which matters more to you when evaluating a new product: the design or the underlying differentiation?
