"Amazon is too saturated" is often a keyword strategy problem disguised as a marketplace problem.
I hear a similar concern from Shopify store owners regularly.
They have built a premium brand that performs well through their own website, but when they look at Amazon, their niche appears crowded.
Sometimes they have even tried Amazon before.
They ran ads. Their higher price point did not convert as well as expected. So they concluded that Amazon was not the right marketplace for their brand.
I would not make that conclusion so quickly.
You do not need to dominate every keyword in your category to have a reason to be on Amazon.
You need to understand where your product can compete and convert.
That means finding the searches where your differentiation actually matters, understanding the customer intent behind those searches, and writing your listing around the keywords that give your product the best opportunity to rank.
This is especially important for premium products.
If you are competing against lower priced products on broad keywords where customers are primarily shopping on price, your conversion rate may struggle.
That does not automatically mean the product cannot work on Amazon.
It could mean you have not found the right demand yet.
Successful Amazon sellers understand that keyword research is not just an SEO exercise.
It helps you understand where your product fits in the market.
You do not have to win everywhere.
You have to know where you can win.
That is exactly the kind of competitive and keyword research we use Data Dive for:
