Amazon just cut MCF fulfillment rates for TikTok Shop orders by 35%.
Amazon is running a live promotion right now, offering 35% off Standard and Expedited fulfillment rates for TikTok Shop orders processed through Multichannel Fulfillment (MCF) for orders shipped in the US.
In case you have never tried it, MCF is Amazon's fulfillment system for orders placed outside Amazon, using the same fulfillment centers, inventory pool, and delivery network that already powers FBA.
You might read this as a short-term marketing push tied to TikTok Shop's growth, something Amazon tests now and pulls back once volume settles.
But surprisingly, inside the system, for any order attributed to TikTok Shop, the 35% promo rate replaces your 2026 Preferred Pricing discount, so Preferred Pricing does not apply to those specific orders.
But when Amazon calculates the volume thresholds that decide your Preferred Pricing tier, those same TikTok Shop units still count toward the total.
So the units get excluded from receiving the Preferred Pricing discount, while still helping you qualify for a stronger Preferred Pricing tier on every other order you ship.
Those TikTok Shop units also do not consume your Preferred Pricing benefit cap or your FBA credit cap, so the volume credit builds without touching the ceiling that limits how much discount you can use.
So this might be a good moment to route TikTok Shop orders through a supported integration partner, confirm your inventory sits in a single MCF pool, and track whether your unit volume moves you into a stronger Preferred Pricing tier by year end.
