A different kind of milestone today: ten years married to the love of my life.
Every anniversary, Vira has kept one beautiful tradition alive: putting on her wedding dress for a photo.
This year, we took that photo at the top of a mountain in the Dolomites, after climbing a via ferrata to get there.
We started with no money or family safety net, just two students building a life together.
Since then, we’ve sold our home to save my first business, lived as digital nomads, moved countries, reinvented ourselves more than once, built businesses, and travelled to more than 50 countries.
We’ve faced plenty of painful challenges and collected so many bucket-list memories that sometimes I need the photos to remember just how much life we’ve already lived.
When people talk about success, the conversation usually turns to careers, businesses, or money. But I realise how much I’ve already lucked out.
Sharing my life with a woman like Vira is my definition of success.
Vira, I love you even more than I did on our wedding day, and somehow, more with every passing day.
Who you marry is one of the most important decisions of your life. I made the right one.
