Your listing says all the right things.

Your listing says all the right things.
Amazon's AI disagrees.
This is one of the most common problems I see with brands that have great products but flat sales.
The product actually delivers. Strong formula. Real differentiators. Proven results.
But the listing copy doesn't reflect it in a way the algorithm can find.
So Amazon's AI ranks a weaker competitor above them.
Not because the competitor is better.
Because their listing speaks the algorithm's language.
We ran a pet supplement brand through Amazon's Product Opportunity Explorer recently.
Amazon surfaced the exact features it weights in search. Vet backing. Active ingredients. Flavor. Speed of results.
The brand had all of it.
Had the vet endorsement. Had the active ingredients. Had the proof.
But when we looked at the listing? Those features were buried. Vague. Or missing entirely.
Amazon's AI couldn't see what the product actually was.
So it ranked accordingly.
This is a content problem disguised as a traffic problem.
And the fix is faster than most brands think.
Here's the audit framework:
1️⃣ Pull up Product Opportunity Explorer in Seller Central
2️⃣ Run your ASIN through the product validation flow
3️⃣ Amazon will surface the features it's actively looking for in your category
4️⃣ Compare that list to your current title, bullets, and A+ Content
5️⃣ Every gap between what you have and what you're saying is lost ranking
The content team's job isn't to sound good.
It's to make sure Amazon's AI can read exactly what the product does.
If the algorithm can't find your differentiators, neither can the customer.
What's one feature in your product that your listing undersells right now?
