Dating closed me a deal this week
An authentic biz deal where we charge a monthly agency fee
I was at a singles mixer
but I wasn't there to pick chicks up
I was looking for a wingman
so I spent most my night actually talking to the men...
asking them what they like to do
hobbies etc
towards the end of the party I met a guy who was into fitness just like me
And we decided to go to a bar to test being wingmen
while driving over I was getting a "are you up" msg from a woman
But I had my eyes set on being a wingman for the first time in 20 years
winging, it was really fun
we learned that we also both had a connection to Amazon and e-commerce
we schedule a business lunch for a couple weeks later
we ink a handshake deal immediately
followed by an actually signed contract
we send referrals back and forth and pay 10% in referral fees lifetime on the deals
I got three referrals in a week
one just signed
