An Amazon friend is struggling to find the perfect candidate.
I looked at their job description.
It's basically 3 Amazon jobs, merged into 1 role.
But that's not the main problem.
It’s the fact that he is looking for a “unicorn.”
I look at him and say:
- Your brand needs someone now
- Interviewing 36 people comes at a cost
- Unicorns don’t exist
If they have potential and are a culture fit…
And they can genuinely manage Amazon ad budgets at your level
What are you waiting for?
You don't need all the other stuff yet
Hire them based on their skill which will actually move the needle for you
Don't bundle all the other stuff on top yet
There are freelancers for that.
