The secret to how I solve Amazon issues.
When it comes to Amazon, the first thing you have to be sure of is that they do not evaluate seller intent, their primarly goal is always the customer, with that in mind and all the years I have worked on the issues we as sellers have fight aganist I "created" these principles that for me are how Amazon interprets the world and how sellers can always find a solution without losing ground.
Because Amazon runs on a fixed hierarchy where every decision inside Seller Central gets weighed against that hierarchy before a fix actually holds (For the full+free version, check out my newsletter)
Amazon Principles:
1️⃣ Customer Obsession sits at the top, so a blocked listing or a flagged variation is rarely about the seller, it is Amazon protecting the buyer and reducing its own liability.
2️⃣ Efficiency means solving the case with the fewest steps, using Flat File corrections and backend tools before escalating to a case manager.
3️⃣ Innovation means testing a new approach on one ASIN before applying it catalog wide, then re-testing that process periodically, because Seller Central changes constantly and last year's SOP is not a permanent rule.
4️⃣ Holistic Ecosystem means nothing happens in isolation, a copy change can trigger a policy flag, the flag can move account health, and the account health drop can strand FBA inventory that had nothing to do with the original edit.
And in addition to those principles, I found two reasoning tools that connect all four, so you have a guide on how to solve the issues: first principles thinking and second-order thinking, which I go deeper into in the newsletter.
