Sweet Monday.
Ben's Original Sweet & Sour TANGY sauce heroes just went LIVE on Amazon UK, and they are glance-readable on mobile. That's something to smile about on a Monday.
We designed these heroes at Neem to pass RHINO's glance readability tests before they shipped. Basics like Format. Variant. Size All readable at thumbnail size in fast scroll. No squinting. No guessing. Being able to add to basket from the thumbnail without extra taps or friction.
This matters because most sauce heroes on Amazon don't pass.
We know because RHINO tested the competitors too.
Their contrast is poor, the text is too small, and shoppers scroll straight past without ever registering what's on the shelf.
Sweet for Ben's Original. Sour grapes for everyone else.
Here's what I've learned designing heroes for MARS brands: when you get glance readability right, the hero doesn't just look better. It works harder. Conversion goes up. Returns from wrong-product purchases go down. And senior leadership actually gets crazy proud of how their brand shows up on the digital shelf because that shelf is now cyber November ready.
We don't just test. We design. Neem's design studio creates heroes that pop in fast scroll, pass RHINO's contrast and clarity checks, and deliver measurably superior performance in AB tests. Crazy feel-good heroes that make the brand team proud AND make the shopper's thumb stop.
If you want tangy levels of uplift, test your heroes for glance readability first.
Then let us design the ones that are truly glance-readable and stop the scroll.
