I saved a masterclass without watching a second of it.

I saved a masterclass without watching a second of it.
31 minutes.
Exactly what I needed.
I did not have 31 minutes. I barely had 31 seconds of patience for people who pretend they do on a Sunday.
So I didn't watch it.
I dropped the link in one folder & went back to work that pays.
By morning it was summarized, cross-linked to every related note in my vault, and filed where I'd actually look for it.
I still haven't watched it. I've used it anyway.
If that bothers you → good.
You're still confusing "I consumed the content" with "I own the idea."
The tax nobody names:
◼ You find something good.
◼ Before you're allowed to keep it, you have to finish it.
◼ Watch. Read. Summarize. Folder. Note. Be a good knowledge worker.
That's the toll. Charged up front, at the exact moment you have the least time and the worst judgment.
Bookmarks are where information goes to be forgotten politely.
Capture first. Route later.
Consume only when the idea is already on your payroll. Your second brain didn't die from bad folders.
It died because you made yourself finish everything before you were allowed to keep it.
