Throwback to last summer, when I brought my daughter to work with me.
At the end of the day, she had two observations:
“You have too much fun at work....this is work?"
And, “When do you do The Math?” 😂
The truth is, I do have a lot of fun. I genuinely love what I do, the people I get to work with, and this amazing community.
Every day brings something new: a new challenge, a new platform, a new idea, an unexpected twist—or sometimes a full roller coaster. I’ve always loved thinking big and bringing ambitious ideas to life, and I feel incredibly fortunate that I get to do that every day.
Now, as Olivia begins her college applications, I find myself thinking a lot about her happiness, getting into a college she loves, being able to pursue her passion in neuroscience, and finding her potential.
And btw, yes, I do some math....but maybe not as much math as Simon Harris though....
If you get the chance to bring your child to work, take it—you never know what they’ll remember, what might inspire them, or how meaningful it will be for them to see you doing something you love.
