500 days. 🇮🇹
That's how long I've kept my Duolingo streak alive, through vacations, holidays, sick days, and at least one 11:58pm sprint to avoid disappointing a cartoon owl.
A few minutes a day. That's it. And somehow it's turned into something I look forward to a lot.
Am I fluent? No. My Italian friends are still safe having private conversations in front of me. But I'm having a genuinely good time getting there.
The real takeaway (and yes, I'll make this about work for a second): tiny consistent effort compounds into things that looked impossible. 500 days ago, this milestone wasn't even on my radar.
