I've done hundreds of main image audits.
A lot of them doubled sales. Some tripled.
Same product. Same price. Just a better first impression.
And after all of them, I realized something:
I only ever give three answers. Every single time.
Bucket 1 — It's already good. Clean, professional, high quality. My answer?
Split test it. Then test again. Keep going until you beat the market leader by a wide margin. Good isn't the finish line. Winning is.
Bucket 2 — It's close, but it's leaking. The image is fine, but it fails the 2-second rule. People scan. They don't study. If they can't understand your product in a fraction of a second, they're gone — already clicking the next listing. So I hand over the small fixes that stop the leak.
Bucket 3 — It's just poor. Product doesn't look rendered. Blends into the background. Not shot professionally. Not filling 85%+ of the frame. Basic issues. And they quietly cost you every single click.
That's it.
Three buckets. Every main image on Amazon lands in one of them.
So here's my question for you:
Which one is yours?
If you're not sure, that's literally what I do. DM me your ASIN and I will tell you the category.
