One of the biggest reasons Amazon products fail has nothing to do with the product itself.

It's inventory planning.

I see entrepreneurs spend months researching products, negotiating with suppliers, and optimizing listings.

Then they launch with enough inventory to last only a few weeks.

That creates a problem.

If demand exceeds expectations and you run out of stock, your organic rankings often suffer. Recovering that momentum can take months and cost far more than simply planning correctly from the beginning.

Before I launch any product, I ask two questions.

How many units could this realistically sell if everything goes right?

Can I afford enough inventory to support that level of demand?

If the answer to the second question is no, I seriously reconsider the opportunity.

Product selection is not just about finding demand.

It's about choosing products that your business has the capital to support.

A great product with poor inventory planning can become an expensive lesson.

A well planned launch gives your product the best chance to build rankings, maintain momentum, and grow profitably.

Have you ever seen a strong Amazon product lose momentum simply because it went out of stock?
