Here's a quick capability audit for your Amazon team.

Here's a quick capability audit for your Amazon team.

Not a test of platform knowledge but a test of commercial knowledge.

Answer honestly.

Does your team know your Net PPM (Amazon's margin on your products), and what's currently moving it?

Does anyone own your net margin by sku, the real number after everything Amazon takes?

When a chargeback lands, does your team treat it as a KPI or an admin task?

Does your ad lead know why ROAS/ACOS is the wrong metric for a vendor and what to use instead?

Does anyone on your team know your net margin before walking into a commercial conversation with Amazon?

When AVN preparation starts, does your team have a commercial plan or just a set of numbers to defend?

If Amazon changed a term, a ranging decision, or a promotional expectation tomorrow does your team know the margin impact within 24 hours?

Most vendor teams can answer two or three of these confidently.

The ones consistently protecting margin on Amazon can answer all seven.

The gap between those two positions isn't platform capability.

It's commercial understanding and it's almost always fixable faster than people expect.

How many of these can your team answer right now?
