If you’re still copy-pasting AI-generated text into your Amazon appeals, or trying to tweak an image to make it look compliant (and avoid pulling inventory) you are playing Russian roulette with your brand.
Amazon is catching up to that, or has already. They're consistently flagging brands who are playing fast and loose with packaging rules too.
I caught up with Gary Huang from 7 Figure Seller Summit to talk about what’s actually happening behind the scenes at Amazon right now.
The reality is brutal: a lot of 7-figure sellers aren't only losing their accounts because they ignore policies, but because they panicked and make matters worse by faking info or rushing generic AI appeals in.
Investigators review thousands of these a day. They know exactly what ChatGPT or Claude or Gemini sound like, why act like they don't?
Submitting a wall of bot fluff just tells them you don't actually know what went wrong.
Also, it appears (according to Amazon teams I just met with in NY) that sellers who get attacked are still sending generic, useless legal letters to Amazon abuse prevention teams who ignore them all.
So, maybe stop doing that, unless you like setting fire to the cash you paid.
Reminder: Photoshopping packaging or editing testing documents to get past a restricted product flag is a fast track to a permanent "evasive behavior" deactivation. Amazon will run a physical bin check, and you can’t backtrack from fraud.
The old playbook is ancient history, and "copycatting" what your competitors are doing on live listings is no longer a safety net.
