Amazon just gave sellers the thing many of us have been asking for: the ability

Amazon just gave sellers the thing many of us have been asking for: the ability to actually talk to our own data.

I spent last week at the Amazon Seller Growth Summit in New York, and the Seller Assistant rollout was the headline for me.

A few things stood out:

- Seller Assistant uses natural language, so you can check on your business the way you would ask a teammate a question, and it surfaces the metrics dashboards right inside the conversation.

- Its AI listing tools analyze competitors in your space to help you create or update your own listings.

- The new Custom Analytics and Profit Analytics (living inside Manage Inventory) let you build and save your own dashboards from over 120 metrics, as broad or as narrow as you want, plus scenario modeling.

Personal note, and I will happily own the bias here: at Amazon Accelerate 2024, I was brought into a closed survey group about the new Seller Central. I cannot claim this was all me, but I am very happy that it appears that I, and others, were listened to about being able to overlay graphs to see data and date-coincidental associations. That capability now shows up in the new Seller Assistant.

If you sell on Amazon, this is the update to go play with first.
